New pacemaker inserted Friday and trying to make sense of it all. This is what I came up with.

I am courageous and I am afraid.
I am strong and I am weak.
I'm happy and I'm sad. 
I am impulsive and I'm methodical. 
I am messy and I am a perfectionist.
Controversy fascinates me--I love a good challenge.
I cannot be conquered but freely submit. 
I am distant and deeply intimate. 
In trying to make sense of it all, I only have more questions than answers. 
I am forever shattered but never broken. 

Not that you should know me, but rather, I know who I am.
